Our Apostle's Creed
"We believe in God the Father almighty, maker of heaven and earth:
And in Jesus Christ, His only Son, our Lord, Who was conceived by the Holy Ghost,
Born of the Virgin Mary, He rose again from the dead, Suffered under Pontius Pilate, Was
crucified, dead and buried. He descended in to Hades:
The third day He rose again from the dead. He ascended into heaven and sits on the
right hand of God the Father almighty; from thence He shall come
to judge the quick and the dead.
We believe in the Holy Ghost; the Pentecostal doctrine of The Church of Christ Written In Heaven;
the resurrection of the body;
and the life everlasting. Amen"
Statement of Faith
We believe in the Holy Trinity, namely: the Father, Son and the Holy Ghost. These three are united in One True
Holy Living God, the Maker and Preserver of all things, undivided, and that He is of infinite
power, wisdom, visible and invisible and that He is from everlasting to everlasting, the Beginning and End.
We believe that Jesus Christ, the only begotten Son of God, who shed His blood on the cross of Calvary
for the remission of sin and for the regeneration of penitent sinners and
salvation from sin and sinning, I john 3 and Ephesians 2:1-10. We believe that
the shedding of blood of Jesus, if accepted, will thoroughly cleanse the justified believer from all sin and
its pollution. Romans 6:6. We believe in the entire sanctification of the soul and body, Roman 1:2
and that it can be wrought by God instantaneously according to the faith of the believer, and that it is a second work of
grace obtained by explicit faith on the part of the believer. We believe in the
Pentecostal baptism of the Holy Ghost and fire. Matthew 3:11, Luke 11:3, Acts 1:5
and this baptism is obtained by a definite act of appropriating faith on part of the fully justified
(and cleaned of sanctified believer) and the evidence of the reception of this
experience eternally, the speaking in other tongues as the Spirit gives utterance,
Acts 2; I Corinthians 12:10; Acts 19:6. The Church of Christ Written In Heaven is theologically
opposed to the doctrine of so-called Christian Science, Spiritualism and Kindred organizations.
